Our Merino styles are made from Australian Merino, which is widely recognized as the world’s softest and most luxurious wool fibre, offering natural drape, elasticity, and breathability using only the finest raw materials from Australia’s premier wool region.With its thinspun techniques, our Merino styles are the perfect offering in our collection for a thin sweater, keeping the softness you would expect from a Six Ámes style.
Merino wool is exceptionally fine and breathable, helping to regulate body temperature naturally. It keeps you warm in cooler weather and cool when it’s warm, adapting to the body’s needs throughout the day. The fibers can absorb and neutralize odours, allowing garments to be refreshed simply by airing them out. Naturally elastic and soft to the touch, Merino wool holds its shape beautifully and offers enduring comfort over time.
Care
Merino wool is naturally odour-resistant and rarely needs washing. If you choose to wash it, follow the proper care to keep it looking and feeling its best, remaining a lasting part of your wardrobe.
Machine wash on a 30°C delicate wool program with a silk/wool detergent. Wash with similar colours.
Do not place merino in the dryer or wring the fabric but keep in mind it can shrink up to 5% even when handled carefully. Avoid hanging, as this can cause the garment to lose its shape but instead lay it flat to dry on a towel.
Do not iron.
Fold neatly instead of hanging to prevent stretching. Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight.
Pilling may occur naturally with wear, and some colours pill more than others. Gently remove any excess pilling with a sweater comb.
